NEWSLETTER FEBRUARY 2011
01 februari 2011

Dear friends of FlyZone,

*AquaFest 2011*
This year there’ll be 2 editions of AquaFest! New is the event at Lake Arenal, to be held on Sunday Feb. 20th. Then on Feb 27th you can witness everything in Parque Sabana in San Jose. What can you expect? Amongst others 3 Liquid Force team riders; Collin Harrington, multiple world champion Phil Soven and another rider that’s to be confirmed later today probably.
Keep an eye on our website where we’ll post any information as soon as it’s available!

*AF Magazine*
There’s a new magazine in town! AF Magazine, or in full: Adrenaline Factor Magazine. It’s published locally, and it’s all about Extreme Sports that are being practiced in Central America. The first three editions featured articles about wakeboarding in Costa Rica and/or about products that FlyZone distributes in Costa Rica (e.g. the new Liquid Force Harley wakeboard) and also featured many friends of FlyZone, so it’s all good stuff! Pick up a copy if you see one! Also keep an eye on their Facebook-page.

*Wakes & Waves - Spring Break Package*
More of interest to our foreign readers; for Spring Break we’re organizing a complete vacation package that includes wakeboarding and surfing. Hence the name WAKES & WAVES! Besides those boardsports the package also includes a canopy tour, a visit to the volcanic hot springs in La Fortuna and more. More info @ www.flyzone-cr.com/Spring_break.

*FlyZone on Twitter*
We’re figuring out how fun and useful Twitter is. Or what a waste of time and effort... ;) We’ll find out! Want to follow our Twitter-adventures and stay tuned to the latest happenings in wakeboarding-in-Costa Rica-land? Log onto twitter.com/costaricawake and follow us.

*New Fly-Guy!*
Since a couple weeks an intern from the Netherlands, Jos or ‘Josh’ as he’s called around here, has joined the troops at FlyZone Headquarters. He’ll be helping us out with marketing, on the distribution front and anywhere else where he’s needed. In the mean time he’ll be writing his thesis too, to wind up his study.
He’ll be with us for another 4 months. Everybody be nice to him! ;)
Welcome Josh!
