Dear friends of FlyZone,

First off we would like to thank all participants of the wakeboarding event TakeOff2009 that we hosted last December. At this event, which started the 2009 wakeboarding season, 10 people were taught some new skills. Some got up on a wakeboard for the first time, others were trying to stick their first 360’s and backrolls. Some pictures of the event can be seen here.

Our Ski Nautique wakeboardboat has arrived and is available to get classes behind!

It has a wakeboardtower to make starts easier and to give you more airtime. We have ballast-bags to create a huge wake that’ll rocket you up in the air! A whole collection of brand new boards in several sizes, and instructors that have been teaching wakeboarding for 10 years, complete the package. Read more here!

This Saturday (Feb. 7) will see the premiere of Costa Rica’s first wakeboard club! The goal of this club is to create a wakeboarding’scene’ in Costa Rica, where likeminded people can get together, meet each other, learn from each other, and most of all have fun together.

Every first Saturday of the month we’ll get together at Hotel Puerto San Luis at Lago Arenal, starting at noon. Besides lots of wakeboarding, expect cold beers, affordable food, music, wakeboardmovies, and more. Puerto San Luis is located close to Tilarán, at Lago Arenal.
